We, CGK Preschool, are accepting students for 2026 school year. Please check out these information below about open school and observation sessions. Please register as soon as possible because we limit the number of participants.

Open School on Weekends

During the session, our teachers who work with children on a daily basis will look after preschool-age children in a designated activity area, so please feel free to bring your child with you.

Overview	CGK’s Educational Philosophy and the Skills We Aim to Nurture An educational approach centered on inquiry, critical thinking, and self-expression, incorporating the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate (IB). Curriculum as an IB PYP Authorized School Development of thinking skills and learner agency through transdisciplinary inquiry-based learning, with a coherent educational pathway leading into MYP and DP. Daily Schedule and the Flow of School Life A full-day routine from arrival to dismissal, balancing English and Japanese learning, outdoor play, and inquiry-based activities. Childcare System Designed for Working Families Core childcare hours from 8:30 to 17:00 (extended care available from 8:00 to 18:30), with short long-term breaks and year-round accessibility. Teaching Staff, Safety Management, and Quality of Care A stable staffing structure including licensed childcare teachers, high staff retention, and a safe, reliable environment for children. Enrichment Classes, Inquiry Activities, and SDGs Initiatives Hands-on learning that fosters social skills and values through a wide range of enrichment classes and SDGs-themed inquiry activities. Overseas Study Programs and Future Pathways Educational pathways that foster independence in a global environment, from short-term overseas experiences starting at age two to long-term study abroad options connected to elementary, middle, and high school. Fees, Government Subsidy Program, and Admission Process Age-based fee structure, eligibility for Japan’s Early Childhood Education and Care Subsidy Program, and clear procedures from application to enrollment. You will also have the opportunity to see our school uniforms and learning materials in person.

Advance registration is required to attend. As each session has limited capacity, we encourage you to register as early as possible.

Families who are still in the early stages of considering enrollment are also very welcome. Please feel free to join us and get a sense of our school environment.

Open School on Weekdays with Observation

Observe live lessons. CGK staff will be available to not only provide explanations, but to answer any questions you may have.
*You are welcome to bring your children, but we ask that the parents/guardians watch over them.

Schedule	After you have applied, we will discuss the schedule with you individually. In principle, students who enroll during the 2025 academic year are eligible.
