Notice of School Name Change (April 2020)

Thank you for your continued understanding and support of our childcare and educational work.

Since opening in April 2016, CGK has operated under the name “Bilingual Preschool Cosmo Global Kids Yokohama Bashamichi.” In April 2020, we launched an Afterschool program in English for elementary-age children. Our Preschool has included some childcare time in Japanese, which is why we used the term “bilingual.” Our Afterschool program, however, offers advanced inquiry-based activities entirely in English. To adopt a more inclusive name that also reflects our plans for the school’s future development, we have decided to change and unify our brand and school name as follows.

We will continue working to improve our services and meet your expectations.
We would be grateful for your continued support, and hope you will keep calling us CGK.

Effective date: April 1, 2020
New school name in Japanese: コスモグローバルキッズ インターナショナルスクール
New school name in English: Cosmo Global Kids International School
