Our Dental Checkup

We recently had a dental checkup.

The different atmosphere made the children a little nervous, but they greeted the dentist and took turns.

Each lay back on a teacher’s lap.

Asked to open wide, they did their best. Hearing that their teeth looked clean, one child asked whether Baikinman, the germ character, was there. The exchange made the adults laugh and was a lovely moment.

After being praised for doing well, the children smiled happily. Their nerves seemed to ease, and they waved goodbye at the end.
