A moment from Job Training.
The month’s theme was Scientist, so we experimented with sinking and floating.
The children predicted what would happen to a pencil, stone, sponge, spatula and other objects, then tested them in water. They watched closely and reviewed each result with Kevin, saying whether the object sank or floated.
One container floated when empty but sank when filled with water, bringing puzzled and surprised expressions.
Things adults take for granted or might overlook can be deeply interesting to children.
Our teachers pay attention to these small discoveries and approach daily care and education from the children’s perspective.
Rather than being a preschool focused only on English, we will continue providing thoughtful care alongside global education.
