CGK International School is an international school with two campuses in Naka-ku, Yokohama, with more than 300 students.
Since its opening, CGK has emphasized inquiry-based learning and is IB PYP World School in our preschool and elementary school.
In this Autumn School, students will engage in a variety of fun and educational activities while nurturing their ability of self-expression, critical thinking skills, and spirit of inquiry.

Regular Day
10:00 am - 2:00 pm (CGK Students 7,700 yen (Including Tax), Non-CGK Students 8,800 yen (Including Tax))
*Please enter after 10:00 am and leave by 2:00 pm
*For current CGK Afterschool students, on the days they normally attend the Regular Course, they may stay until 7:00 pm as usual.Field Trip
10:00 am - 4:00 pm (CGK Students 12,100 yen (Including Tax), Non-CGK Students 13,200 yen (Including Tax))
*Fees include entrance fee, bus fee, etc. This fee remains the same even if there are changes to the program due to rain or other circumstances.
*For current CGK Afterschool students, on the days they normally attend the Regular Course, they may stay until 7:00 pm as usual. -

*Reservations must be made by 5:00 pm on the business day before.(For Monday bookings, the deadline is 5:00 pm on Friday.) If you submit the form after the deadline, please wait for a confirmation via LINE or phone on the next business day. Your reservation will be confirmed only after you receive our reply.

Stop Motion Movie Day |
Become stop motion movie directors for the day!
Students will look at examples of famous stop motion movies before discussing how they think a good stop motion movie is made. After sharing their ideas they will work in teams to plan out an original short stop motion movie. Once they have discussed their idea with a teacher and got the go ahead they will work together to bring their ideas to life. During presentation time students will introduce their movie and answer questions from their peers before sharing their creation with the class. |

Art Attack Big Art |
Create gigantic pieces of art that can be enjoyed from afar!
Inspired by a recurring segment on the popular 90s UK kids TV show Art Attack, students will work together with a variety of materials to create giant art pieces that come to life when looked at from above! Team work, material choice, communication, and planning is of great importance for this activity and students will quickly find that this can be more tricky than they initially thought! |

How Do Plants Grow? - Bus Field Trip Day |
How do plants grow? Step outside the classroom and explore the amazing world of plant growth!
Students will first be introduced to the project and learn some of the key vocabulary and concepts that they are likely to encounter during the visit to ICONIC STAGE. They will then take part in practical hands-on experiments where they will get to see for themselves how photosynthesis works. After having lunch at school, they will take the bus to our partner, ICONIC STAGE. *Pancakes will be served individually, with one plate per participant. |

CGK Harvest Festival |
Spend the day taking part in an original Harvest Festival!
Students will learn about the prominence of harvest festivals around the world and how this reflects the importance of food as a universal human value. Harvest festivals usually include a food donation event to help those less fortunate, and we hope to replicate this at CGK, so we kindly ask each student to bring some non-perishable food, such as canned food, that they can donate to a good cause. As harvest festivals are a time of joy students will experience a wide variety of fun harvest festival games and activities in the classroom and on the play space on the 5th floor. This will also include making their own chocolate fruits and compete to see who can win the grand prize of a giant jar of candy! |

Have a blast with friends—run, laugh, and enjoy every moment together!
VS PARK is an interactive activity facility where you can enjoy experiences like being on a game show. *Students will be engaged in physical activity so please feel free to bring a change of clothes if required. |

- Do you provide bus transportation?

No, we do not. We ask that parents/guardians drop off and pick up their children, or the children commute to the school on their own.
- Are school lunches provided?

Yes, you can bring your own lunch or order a lunch on Regular Days. Please bring your own on Field Trip Days.
- Can I visit the school before I apply?

Yes. You are welcome to observe an actual afterschool classes. Please feel free to contact us.
- Is it possible to extend the hours of care?

Pre-extended care (from 9:00 or 9:30 am) is available. No extended care after the end of Seasonal School (2:00 pm for Regular Days and 4:00 pm for Field Trip Days) is available.
- Can I apply by the day?

Yes. Seasonal School is available on a per day basis.
- Is there a maximum capacity?

Yes. The daily capacity is approximately 45 students for the Regular Days and Train Field Trip Days, and approximately 32 students for Bus Field Trip Days.
- Can I find out about my child's lessons after they participate?

We will share photos of how the day went through LINE. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your child's experience.
- Is there a reservation deadline?

Yes. The deadline is 5:00 pm on the business day before your desired date. (If your booking is for Monday, the deadline is 5:00 pm on Friday.)
If you submit the form after the deadline, your reservation will only be confirmed once you receive a reply from us via LINE or phone.
- Is there a cancellation fee if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.Within 6 days of the reserved date (including the day of use)
Cancellations made within 6 days of the reserved date are non-refundable.
