About Preschool

IB PYP Candidate School. Full-time, 5-days-a-week enrichment curriculum for preschool, daycare, and kindergarten ages in Bashamichi/Kannai, Yokohama. CGK provides quality childcare and education that also nurtures non-cognitive skills through a global education that fosters self-expression, acute cognitive ability and a spirit of inquiry.

About Middle & High School

Scheduled to open April 2025. We provide an environment that nurtures internationally-minded individuals that can contribute to a better world, expanding opportunities for happiness unlimitedly on a global scale. Students will study abroad for 1 year from the summer of the 2nd year of Middle school.

About Afterschool

Afterschool care for Elementary students. In order to emphasize authentic, high-level inquiry-based activities, we screen for English proficiency before admission. We also conduct project activities based on PBL (project-based learning), which provide a lively and enjoyable environment for advanced and in-depth learning. We have seasonal schools too.

Admissions

Enrollment Application Information for Middle and High School

Admission Process

*Please note that we are not accepting applications for admission at this time, as the middle school is scheduled to open in 2025 and the high school in 2028.

Open School: You will receive more detailed information about the middle and high school at an Open School.
Enrollment Application: The school will provide you with an application form. Application fee must be paid after submitting the application form.
Admission Screening: An interview with your child will be conducted with an English teacher from our middle/elementary school. During the interview we will use this opportunity to learn more about them and assess their English abilities.
A separate interview with parents or guardians will be conducted in either English or Japanese. Please note that parents or guardians do not need to be proficient in both English and Japanese for your child to be admitted.
Acceptance and Payments: Enrollment is secured with the payment.
Orientation: We will have a school orientation for prospective students and parents. During this orientation we hope to meet each of you and begin our working relationship in your child's learning journey.

Open School (Group)

During our Open Schools, we will introduce CGK International School and answer any questions that you may have. Currently, the event is not yet scheduled.

Acceptance of Applications for April Admission in 2025

The application schedule will be announced as soon as it is finalized.

Refund Policy

The application fee and registration fee are non-refundable after payment. Refunds for other fees will be made in accordance with separate regulations.
