Pygmalion Petit: A Parent-and-Child Trial Session

On Thursday, December 15, we held a free parent-and-child trial and information session for the extracurricular Pygmalion Petit class.
The strong attendance suggested considerable interest in early cognitive learning.

The original introduction cited Pygmalion’s adoption by Hama Gakuen, described at the time as a leading provider of successful applicants to the highly selective Nada Junior High School. It also reported an average standardized hensachi score above 60 among graduates of the program.
Rather than emphasizing memorized knowledge, the method aims to stimulate fine motor skills, spatial skills, shape recognition, numerical and logical thinking, and language, helping children think and use knowledge meaningfully.
Its stated aim is to develop children’s intellectual abilities, not simply to produce an elite group.
Although Cosmo Global Kids is a preschool, we look beyond language and global education alone, incorporating varied elements to support children’s healthy development.
