Rainy-Day Exercise and a Hungry Caterpillar

Just as we headed out for a walk, it began to rain, so we returned inside.
We moved to the hall, where Ash’s exercise time began.
The children listened carefully during the warm-up and copied a range of movements.
They even tried skipping!
Next came a ball game. Divided into two teams, they enjoyed throwing balls into the other team’s area.
Seeing them follow rules such as staying off the boundary mat and not kicking the balls showed how much they had grown.
Finally, a “Hungry Caterpillar” appeared: Ash and Reiko wore the play tunnel. The children squealed with excitement and tried to defeat the caterpillar by throwing balls!
It was a day full of laughter for children and teachers alike.
