An International Baccalaureate (IB) World School
CGK International School is an international school in Bashamichi and Kannai, Yokohama, offering a continuous education from Preschool through Middle School. We plan to open our High School in 2028.
School Festival brings together booths filled with children's learning, arts and crafts experiences, delicious food, music, and dance. CGK students and families, as well as members of the public, are all welcome to enjoy the festival.
10:00–14:30 on both days / CGK Kannai Campus / Free admission / No advance reservation required
Vendors and participating classes vary by day. Check the date of the activities that interest you, and come enjoy the festival with your family and friends.

School Festival is also a place for students to put their everyday learning into practice and share it with visitors. Through booths and projects inspired by their inquiries, come experience CGK's approach to learning and the atmosphere of our school.
Children and teachers are preparing activities inspired by folktales from around the world. Visitors will be able to enjoy activities that bring these stories to life.

These are the classes scheduled to run booths. Stage performance dates and times are separate. A venue map and detailed program will be posted once confirmed.
Nine vendors are scheduled to join us, offering everything from tarts, bread, and meals to coffee and traditional fair treats. Vendors vary by day, so check the menu for the day you plan to visit.

A specialty shop offering tarts and quiches made from recipes by a French pastry chef, with careful attention to the flavor and texture of every ingredient. Its creations also feature ingredients popular in France, such as rhubarb. Enjoy a taste of everyday French life at the festival.

Run by an Italian chef, Luca Deli provides CGK School Bento lunches and event catering. This year, festival visitors can enjoy pizza and karaage, both popular in its familiar bentos, along with a special festival dessert. Stop by for a meal or a snack.

Inspired by café culture in Australia and Canada, this vendor serves house-roasted coffee and Japanese-grown matcha. Alongside cold brew and iced lattes, the menu includes matcha latte, brown sugar matcha latte, and strawberry matcha latte. Whether you love coffee or matcha, find your new favorite drink.

Shinryoku makes onigiri and side dishes, with a focus on preparing its ingredients and dishes by hand in the shop. At the festival, it will sell sets of three onigiri in three varieties and karaage skewers. This is a perfect stop for anyone in the mood for a Japanese meal.
Our connection began at the 2025 School Festival, and since February 2026, Shinryoku onigiri have been served occasionally as snacks at CGK Preschool.

A pâtisserie and bakery in Yokohama Motomachi offering bread, rice-flour cream puffs, and baked sweets. Look for a treat to enjoy between festival activities or something delicious to share with your family.

Opened in Yokohama Chinatown in December 2024, 101 Bishoku is known for its classic Taiwanese da ji pai. At the festival, it will serve Taiwanese fried chicken and candied strawberries, so visitors can enjoy both a savory meal and a sweet treat.

A shop on Motomachi Shopping Street that listens to the local community while serving bentos and side dishes. Its popular yakisoba and mini burgers will be available at the festival—perfect after a busy day of activities.

This booth offers cotton candy made with ingredients such as organic maple sugar and organic brown sugar, along with traditional fair games for children. Planned activities include “Earth Ball Scooping,” retro Showa-era capsule toys, and a handmade sticker lottery.

Tsunagaru Aokido rents the Coffee Aokido space in Kanda-Sudacho for event-based service on weekends and weekday evenings. It will offer chilled juice, lemon squash, and baked sweets. It is operated separately from the regular Coffee Aokido business. Please use the linked account's direct messages or similar channels for inquiries.
Draw pictures, choose your favorite colors and materials, and enjoy making something of your own at eight creative booths. Each workshop offers a chance to experience the world of a different artist or studio through hands-on creativity.
Fees and durations are planned based on information submitted by each vendor. Further details, including how to participate, will be announced once confirmed.

A Tokyo-based artist who creates paintings, portraits, and imaginative worlds. At this workshop, participants can enjoy painting a pumpkin in their favorite colors and creating a piece that is uniquely their own.
Planned fee: clay pumpkin—¥1,500 for high school students and older, or ¥1,200 for middle school students and younger; canvas—¥1,400 for high school students and older, or ¥1,100 for middle school students and younger. Duration: up to 30 minutes. Pieces with thick layers of paint can be collected 20 minutes after completion to allow them to dry.

Try ocean resin art with this art studio from Hiro-o, Shibuya. Use resin to make a small container and create your own ocean in the colors of your choice.
Planned fee: ¥2,000. Duration: approximately 20 minutes.

A handmade craft salon offering lessons for adults and workshops for children. Participants will combine facial features and their favorite ribbons on a colorful round purse to create a one-of-a-kind cat coin purse.

Masa, a manga and comics enthusiast from Brazil, will introduce the fun of telling stories through pictures. Participants will imagine their own story and draw an original four-panel manga.
Planned fee: ¥2,000. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.

An art school led by Michel, a graduate of an art university. Through art kits delivered to participants and visiting art classes, the school gives preschool through middle school students opportunities to express themselves freely and joyfully.

Sofi*a style offers flower-arranging and handmade craft lessons in Hongodai, Saka-ku, Yokohama. Participants will combine colorful fabric scraps with their favorite decorative pieces to make a Halloween wreath. The workshop is open to ages 6 and up, and parent-child participation is welcome.
Planned fee: ¥800. Duration: approximately 20–30 minutes.

A workshop where children encounter languages including Japanese, Spanish, and English through play and craft-making. Complete multilingual missions to collect pieces, then use them to finish an original creation of your own.
Planned fee: ¥700. Duration: approximately 15–20 minutes.

Happy Beans provides English-language hotel babysitting and childcare for international families visiting or living in Japan. Participants will combine initials, star, moon, and heart stickers, and tassels on clear acrylic to make an original bag charm.
Planned fee: ¥1,000. Duration: approximately 10–15 minutes.

Try a basketball shooting challenge presented by Yokohama's professional basketball club. Take aim at the hoop and see if you can make the shot.
Planned participation fee (based on submitted information): Free. Duration: approximately 3 minutes per turn.

A children's sports program combining English and flag football. The festival activity is planned as a football target game where participants throw a ball at a target. Participation prizes and other prizes will also be available.
Planned participation fee (based on submitted information): Free. Duration: approximately 5 minutes.
Student presentations alongside music and dance from our guests. Enjoy a stage filled with each performer's unique personality and expression.
Dance
At the 2025 School Festival, preschool, elementary, and middle school classes performed dance routines. Details of the 2026 performance will be posted once confirmed.
English Performance
At the 2025 School Festival, Mr Gavin presented an interactive show combining English, balloon art, and magic. The 2026 program will be posted once confirmed.
Music
Mamonaku performed at the 2023 School Festival with a lineup that included Martin and Huw, who were introduced as CGK teachers at the time. The 2026 lineup and set will be posted once confirmed.
Preschool Dance
This group is led by Ms. Leina, an IB PYP teacher at CGK Preschool and an instructor for the after-school dance class. The 2026 program will be posted once confirmed.
Elementary School Presentation
Grade-level groups from CGK Elementary School are scheduled to perform. Performance dates, times, and programs will be posted once confirmed.

With support from businesses and shops connected to CGK, we are preparing another raffle this year. More exciting prizes will be introduced as details are confirmed.
Up to four guests will be invited for a one-night, two-day family stay at an all-inclusive hot spring resort. Meals, drinks, and activities are included for a family experience to enjoy together.
For groups of more than four, the regular rate applies to each additional guest.
