Building on the success of last year’s festival, this year’s event will be even bigger, spanning across five floors of our Kannai campus😄Each floor will offer a variety of exciting games, face painting, exhibitions, music, and performances, providing a full day of entertainment for everyone🎪
This event will not only be fun but also provide a meaningful opportunity to reflect on CGK’s history and look forward to its future😌 We will share more details about the event in the coming weeks⭐️ We encourage you to make a reservation in advance, as this will ensure a smoother check-in process on the day and allow you to enjoy the festival without worrying about entry restrictions, even if the venue becomes crowded. (日本語は英語の後で) Yesterday’s snack for the Ocean class (2 year olds) was scones from “iro”, a scone specialty store located near Tobe Station😊 When “iro” contacted us, they mentioned that they want the children to enjoy their shop’s delicious scones, so this time we decided on offering the scones to Ocean class students✨ We sat up the scones on a tower tray and the children chose two of their favorite scones from the scone tower to eat for snack, and two more to take home as souvenirs!

CGK’s Autumn School program is designed exclusively for elementary school students😊
The CGK Afterschool Autumn School program conducts classes where students can flex their creativity and have fun in a relaxed and supportive environment whilst pursuing their goal in ways they decide is most interesting to them. We value the children’s independence and provide ample opportunities for them to move their bodies, work on crafts, research, present their work, debate their ideas, share their opinions, and actively try new things!😄
There are no restrictions on the amount of days that can be applied for so please feel free to apply for any days you are interested in!

(日本語は英語の後で) We are very happy to share the news that we are officially an IB World School authorized to deliver the Primary Years Program! Becoming an authorized school means we met all the required qualifications to deliver the PYP. Implementing the PYP at CGK has already improved teaching and learning. But this is only the beginning. We will continue to strengthen our teaching approaches and learning. Every year we will identify at least one specific area that we will work to improve as a school as well as individual goals for all staff. Teachers will also continue to receive professional development, either in-service from qualified staff or through official IB workshops. Our goal has always been not just to offer the PYP, MYP, DP, and CP, but to offer the best educational experience possible to all of our students.
We will continue to offer IB information sessions and publish writings about our school and lessons. We continue to work towards achieving our mission to "expand the options for happiness on a global basis." CGK International School
(日本語は英語の後で)On June 14th CGK elementary school hosted a Japanese Cultural Day🎐🍍✨ The students took the lead in planning and organizing the event, and created lots of fun games and activities for their friends to enjoy😄 The students also wore yukatas, jinbeis and anime character costumes. They enjoyed completing a stamp rally, Bon Odori dance and watching a Japanese anime🎵 Students also created handmade lanterns to decorate the school - the colors were truly beautiful - and helped make a striking Godzilla display🌟! Additionally, this year there was a special lantern contest by the CGK staff. The students got to vote on whose lantern they liked the most🏮! All-in all it was a fun-filled day and students from all grades had a wonderful time😆!

6月14日、初等部で夏祭りをテーマにしたJapanese Cultural Dayが開催されました🎐🍍✨子どもたちが主体となってイベントの企画・運営を行い、友達が楽しめるたくさんの楽しいゲームやアクティビティを作り上げました😄子どもたちは浴衣や甚平、アニメキャラクターのコスチュームを着て、スタンプラリーを完成させたり、盆踊りを踊ったり、日本のアニメ映画を鑑賞したりして楽しみました🎵
